Re: Nihtclub Survey
Sat, June 23, 2007 - 9:34 PMI can't really give an answer about my favorite club since I hardly ever go to nightclubs. But I can still remember a movie my mother sent me to when I was somewhere around 15. I thought it was called "around the world by night", but I can't find it in any of the movie databases. Anyway, it was a tour of the world's best night clubs (circa 1964 or so) and the images from it are still in my mind as some of the best erotic film I've ever seen. Probably the best was an act in Denmark where the stripper came out behind a fairly heavy cloth, backlit, and went through the poses of many of the best sculptures and paintings out of our culture. It was all in outline, no skin visible at all, but she was obviously nude in many of the poses.

Re: Nihtclub Survey
Mon, June 25, 2007 - 7:54 AMI was at a club in SF some years back which had a very erotic visual thing going on. There was a clothes check, and it was underwear night. The most erotic part was that they had a shadow box next to the clothes check, that is some sheet strung up and illuminated from within to cast the shadow of whoever was in the box onto the walls of the box. Anyone who stripped inside the shadow box got a free beer or discount pricing. There was a constant flow of people into the box, and many of them put on some very erotic shows before emerging in their underclothing. It might have been even sexier if people had emerged fully clothed after seeing the shadow show of them, usually naked.

Wed, June 27, 2007 - 7:45 PMIt is more the people you go with and the people you meet while you are there, than the physical space it's self. I really like The Little Red Studio in DT Seattle. It is a performance art "club" they have dancing and a DJ but they also have erotic games, poetry, performances. Participation is nearly required. No not really. You can be as involved or as reserved as you feel comfortable, in a stimulating environment like that you want to be involved.
