Seeking photog for TS erotica

Hi,

Once again I'm seeking a photographer to a shoot or multiple shoots. I want to concentrate on semi-public places without getting caught. The added factor of that is a plus. I'm open to any location but I want to get away from backdrops, "htoel" looking type of roms and my apartment ;) The content type is variations of erotica, but also covering fetishes such as stocking, heels, upskirt, etc... I'm also into doing something a bit more congruent with my pro domme past.

The main idea is spontaneity. Nothing too planned - just head out for an afternoon or evening and any interesting spot or location, we just go for it. No reflectors, lengthy poses, etc... I work best when I'm moving so I'm looking for someone who's good at capturing the right instance, rather than posing and creating the shot. There's a number of recent shots in my photos on Tribe. Feel free to ask any questions and I'm very open to ideas.

Hello everyone. I'm pleased to meet you all. I have a photograph I'd be very interested in getting some opinions on from people with a trained eye. I'm curious to hear if others looking at this photo see an erotic suggestion behind the veneer of the objects themselves used in the composition, and if so, what is it?

Sowings

Last night I had my first public sowing of my erotic photography. Let's just say I was thoroughly disappointed. When we got there we had to remove some stuff that was left from the last show that was there,I was given an 8x8 area in which to hang my photos which took me 3 hours to do. The area I was given looked like it was behind the bar and no one would think they had access to it. After that I had to climb up and down a ladder to fix lights and adjust the lighting to show my work, which took me an hour. I then helped other artists set up their displays and went to grab a bit to eat and get dressed for the night.

When I returned I found the lights were turned off and my wall was hidden in shadows. After much complaining they turned one of the dance floor lights around to shine on the wall but that too was turned so low that it might as well not have been on at all. Although some people did come up to have a look most did not think they could get closer to it.The handout that they gave out about the show consisted of 1 8.5 X11 sheet of paper, that only listed "some artwork". They never told the guests that the artwork was for sale or who the artist supplying the work were. They then proceeded to tell me they expected 30% of any sales I may have made that night.

To make a long story short the night ended in a very bad way and has left a bitter taste in my mouth about showing my work for these people ever again.

I wonder have any of you ever had this type of experience where you have been invited to show some work only to have it left in the dark?

Is this typical or should I write a scathing letter to the organizers? Please let me know.

BTW I made no sales.

We are a woman positive, sex positive, woman run production company. We're seeking two females who would be interested in being a part of two (maybe three, if you're interested/available!) short sex-ed videos on 1) spanking (only with light "instruments," e.g., ping pong paddle), 2) light bdsm foreplay (blindfolding, tickling, handcuffs, no-pain sensation play), 3) breast&nipple play.

I am writing a process analysis essay on the process of photographing models and getting the best out of your shoot. As a photographer, I have learned the most about shooting subjects by modeling for professional photographers who knew how to direct amateur models, and from professional models that teach the craft of modeling. Professional Photographer and Newbie to Tribes

I am new not just this tribe but all of Tribe.net. I am a bi-female in a poly relationship. First, being bi and poly living in a very conservative state I have to be careful who I talk to about my life. I am a professional photographer. I have run a large retail camera store and been lead photographer for over 15 years. I taught photography for many, many years and just recently quit my job to start my own photography business. The one thing about having left the retail camera world is I miss all the contact with other photographers and discussing what they are shooting and what types of equipment they like to use for what purpose. So anytime you want to chat about any of the above, please message me. I look forward to getting to know you.

Also since I am new to Tribes if you have a good tribe that you think I should investigate I would appreciate a steer in that direction. There seem to be so many tribes I tend to get overwhelmed just looking at the lists and forget what I was looking for in the first place. I am a major fan of Art, artistic people, photography of all types, belly dancing, writing, rugby, reading fantasy and fiction, hosting parties etc. If you have found a tribe that you really enjoy would you drop me a line so I can check it out so that I can get more connected. By the way I am also considering doing an art piece based on poly. Shooting poly groups in a mix of looks from the very traditional sit down studio pose to casual home life looks, to tastefully done intimate art shots. if anyone is interested in this aspect you are welcome to let me know. Because these relationships we have are important to us too, but its not generally something you just walk into sears and say can you take our family photo hehehe.

I am afraid that I will not be able to cut the content of the movie script, even if I find actors interested .You can e-mail me with rates, photos, questions, etc. If your an actor or actress who has worked in nudity and/or sexual situations, is comfortable with it, and would like to take on a feature narrative film as a major role please e-mail me or show up to the auditions. The two main roles are the ones that require it but there are others. Aberrant Behavior, is basically about two self destructive anarchistic-y street kids who have an exaggerated form of pica, a disorder where people feel compelled to eat non-food materials, carpet, dirt, soap, drano, various chemicals, etc. as portrayed as a drug addiction. Who are in a very self destructive relationship, there perfect for each-other except they literally kill each-other by being together. A lot of psycho-sexual/self mutilation-masochism in this one.There's more to it, but that's the basic synopsis.

Keep in mind the budget of this movie will probably stay around 25-35, 000 dollars (already secured), so just warning I can't pay the highest rates

I will be hiring for many roles, all ages (over 18) races, sizes, etc. But here are the main characters:
Main Characters:
Victor Muertos: (Mid to late twenties) Half Mexican/Half white (Half latino/half white will probably work). Black hair, down to chin and five o clock shadow. (Flexible though). Tall and thin but not too thin.
Dark, brooding, depressed, prone to long winded sarcastic, cynical rants. Living off the state for mental depression, and addiction, but eventually breaks himself from the state. He hates the state, and normal life in general. He hates almost everything. He is sort of sloppy hipster, slightly emo, slight slight slight goth meets street kid. Light or no body mod, piercings, etc. He eventually lives on the street because of choice.He falls in love with Aiko.

Aiko Zumbi (18-early twenties or look like it) Half Japanese/Half German (or Japanese, or half Japanese/Half white). Shorter than Victor, thin but still slightly curvy.
Street kid with a bit of dark hippie. Has been sexually abused as a child. Prone to violence. Prone to long winded rants, or sometimes just total silence. Dark, cynical, with a very bleak view of life. Body mods, tattoo's, piercings, fine. Dreaded or colored hair fine as well. Actually preffered.
She falls in love with Victor.

Emma May (20's to 30's) Actress must be thin, because character is anorexic. Very fake, superficial, manic laughing. Very self deluded. She doesn't really see her anorexia as a problem, she think she looks great though she's obviously dieing and goes to extremes to keep herself thin. She is always dressed up elegantly and thinks of herself as a proper lady even when doing something grotesque . She is a head executive at a advertising/pr firm that she gets a Victor a brief job at, through meeting him in a class over there mutual addictions. (Brief Nudity /Partial a few times)

Caseworker Joe (30's-40's) Written has hispanic, but open. Larger guy, tall, built like a shed, a bit fat but not flabby fat. Very coarse, to the point, direct "Take no shit" kind of guy. Very normal, buys into the whole big house in the suburbs, good job, etc. He is Victor's Caseworker, and is tired of Victor's Shit, and believes he is not trying to quit. (None)

Glitters- a gay gangster rapper, take everything that's a cliche and horrible about it and flip it so that it's gay (some, will also need male models)

Pedida Muertos-Victors Mother. A nearly catatonic morally apprehensive drug addict who's always sleeping with random guys and ignoring her child (Some nudity/sexual situations can be negotiated to less)

And then random visuals, nudes for some flashback scenes (of some sort of psuedo porn the main characer shot) a girl that Victor sleeps with before he falls in love with Zumbi (requires brief nudity/sexuality) and some body part imagery that will not feature the face of the actor/actress, among other thing

I need before I even start:
Prostethetics/Makeup- There are many parts of my movie that need gore, ghoulish makeup or creating body casts for dreamlike effect (like a scene where they fall onto the ground and break like porcelain blood-paint spraying out of them creating a heart) but most importantly I need someone who can help make someone look anorexic, eye sockets reccessed , hips sticking out, ribs sticking out, shoulder blades, etc. I can't start without this because it's one of the main characters.

Boom-I have someone lined up for operating boom/mixing sound, but I'm not sure he'll always be available. I need someone who has at least some experience in this to help. I have equipment but having (better?) equipment would be great.

Props- It would be great to have someone who can assist in creating edible (or non toxic) chemicals, substances, materials for the main characters to ingest. It would also free me up to think about other things.

Lighting/ Art Department/ Set Design/Decoration/Locations- I need someone who can do a lot without a lot who can work with unusual materials. Who isn't too expensive or I won't be able to afford you. Also may be able to transform other locations into desired location.Things needed for instance underground bomb shelter turned into run down sorta apartment. Abandoned buildings. Offices. Fashion Show. A sewer, where the characters live in and eat off of trash.

Set Decorators/Builders:
Though the majority of the movie will be in real locations. There will be a few sets built, and sets that will be decorated to fit the movie. I am looking for people who have experience building sets (theater experience would be great) on a low budget. Resourcefullness in materials is needed (Meaning you can do a lot with not a lot). Building flats, painting, decorating.

Prosthetics/ Make-Up: Though this is not a gore horror movie. There is quite a few instances of gore. People who have experience in mold making, prostethics, sculpture. etc. would be very helpfull. Also people good at making people looking sickly or malnourished through make-up needed. In addition Emma May, the severe anorexic will need added pieces to protrude her brows and jaw, her ribs, collar bones, hip bones, etc to make herself appear much thinner. Actually a lot of make up needs from simple to complex through out the movie.

Vfx-Compositors- Though this will not be a special effects epic, there will be things needed. Good flashy two animations/composting for some of the fake commercials/promos. Possible fire and underwater animation. Some manipulation of the video -color fluctuations, shrinking an enlarging, simple morph effects, color globules to represent visual aberrations in the characters eye-sight. Some 3-D needed especailly those who are good working with modeling human figures. But mostly more simple 2-D basic 3-D stuff. I may do this myself, but send me a link to your work, and I might hire you for the movie.

Props: I will be doing much of this myself, but may need help in re-creating chemicals, materials, such as drano, soap, dirt, carpet, many other instances through-out the script, to create realistic looking edible (or at least non toxic ) substitutes for the substances they swallow.

Mechanical/Puppetry- Not needed for a lot of the movie. But there is a few scenes with Emma Mays giant snake like tape worm that slithers around. Also a scene where skull bowls start vomiting (have to read script to explain) Could do myself, just seeing if anyone else might be interested.

Lighting Designer: Though I will likely take over this role myself, and a lot of the footage will be shoot in the streets style. There will be a few locations that will be staying in for a long while in the script, and would like good, stylized lighting for maximum creepy effectiveness.

Costume: I already have a few people on board for this, but as this movie ends in a big Valentines Day Fashion Show. I am looking for people who could be commisioned for clothing for that event (and other sequences in the movie as well). Also, previously made pieces could work.

Underwater Camera- Anyone who would like to rent me an underwater camera, or who has experience filming underwater, this is needed for a few sequences.

Boom Mic/ Sound Mixer- I already have someone onboard for this, but never hurts to have a second position, or a backup

Pyro/ Fire Safety/Explosion - This really isn't needed for a lot of the movie. But there is one scenes where a whole room catches on fire (with possible stuntman that catches on fire, I made do this in special effects). There is another scenes where a home-made bomb blows a crack into a wall and makes it crumble. I want these scenes to come off effective and safe.

Security- Not throughout the whole movie, but there will be scenes where I will be filming in potentially dangerous locations, and a climax that will need crowd control

Legal/ Locations- I will probably do this myself, but if anyone has experience in finding or knowing of great locations, or securing permits for locations. I might be interested in working with you.

Production Assistants/Co-Ordinaters (I am sure you know what this means)

Music- I have most of the music worked out. But a band fell out that I really felt I needed for some sequences. If your music is post -rocky, slow core or has that aphex twin meets godspeed you black emperor I may be interested. The kind of bands I'm looking for: Mew, Godspeed you black emperor, Explosions in the sky, Spiritualized, 65 days of static, Sigur Ros. Also in some music Portis-Heady could work.

I'm curious...

Often I know when I've had a succesful shoot by the "hard on" I get at the end. I've never taken advantage of the "hard on" nor the model. I've photographed girlfriends where the sexual relationship existed prior to the shoot, but haven't had sex with those who simply modeled for me.

Of those of you who can relate, who has had sex with his or her models? Who would admit to it? How has it helped your work or hindered it?

I found a great studio in San Francisco that rents for $50.00 per hour 2 hour min. I have that covered..

I am looking for a TFP/TFCD (Trade For Prints/CD). That is, the model doesn't have to pay the photographer, but gets material for their modeling-portfolio; and the photographer doesn't pay the model, but gets material for their photographic portfolio. These are for portfolio use ONLY, unless separate arrangements are made later.

It's a good way to build a portfolio -- a good deal on both sides. For newbies to the arena, it seems to be invaluable. Also, a good way to build a network; word DOES spread; photographers talk to photographers, models talk to models. Having a rep for professionalism can make the difference between getting a paying gig, and not.

Getting Started

I am not trained as a photographer, but in the course of doing my job some picture taking is required and occasionally I get some decent results.

Erotic photography is something I've thought about doing for the past several months; I'm talking tasteful and dignified, not raunchy.. THinking more about taking photos for someone who wants to build a portfolio or would like her photos for personal use only.

I'm wondering though, what issues I have think about besides just taking the pictures, legal issues, etc.

All feedback, from those who take pictures and those who have there pictures taken, is appreciated.

retro style pin up photographer?

Looking for a photographer in Portland Oregon area that has experience in the 1940's style of pin up photography. I am not ready for the photo shoot yet, but am looking for options for when the time is right.
Anyone know of anyone?
also, anyone have favorite pin up sites online that are tasteful so that I can begin gathering pose ideas and so forth. I love that style of photo and am hoping to be able to drop the last bit of weight I need to to feel totally comfortable doing a shoot myself.
